The Highway owes its name to the fact that it was originally sold with an open crown, which could then be creased to the customer’s liking. These days it comes with a hand-pressed cattleman crown, a classic frontier style worn the world over and well-loved by the likes of Harry Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson, and countless other influential and inspiring figures.

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $6.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.

You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn item with tags in its original packaging. Return postage is paid by the buyer, unless your item arrived damaged, wrong, or never arrived — in those cases we replace it or refund you in full and cover the postage.

Each product page lists that hat’s available sizes and its X rating — the higher the X, the finer the felt or straw. Measure around your head just above the ears and match the closest size. Natural felt, fur, straw and leather vary slightly in grain and shade from piece to piece — that is the material, not a defect.
